Transforming Butterflies | Splash for Schools and Communities

Equipment Needed:

Scissors
Pencils or pens
Butterfly Template
Coloured paper
Blu Tak

(this activity looks particularly good in front of a window where the butterflies can be stuck directly onto the window)

Changes happen to us all the time. Some people like change. Some people don’t like change. Some people feel excited and others feel worried. Maybe you feel a bit of both? That’s OK.

If a caterpillar doesn’t change, it will never become a butterfly.

Choose a butterfly. If you want to, on one wing write something that you have really enjoyed about this school year. On the other wing write or draw something you are looking forward to in the coming year. Using the Blu Tak, stick your butterfly onto the window or board.
